Heal The Spirit Body

Quantum Science has proven that EVERYTHING in the Cosmos is energy, including us! Within our physical body we have 7 major wheel-like, spinning vortex energy centres called chakras that align to the spinal column starting at the base of the spine and finishing at the crown of the head.

These chakras are connected to the major glands and organs of our body and the body systems. The chakras work by picking up and emanating out vital life force energy called Prana, so it is vital they stay open and aligned. Each particular chakra resonates to the vibration of a particular colour and sound.

The chakra system works hand in hand with the emotions and physical body. When we suppress our emotions and hold onto un-forgiveness, not only is this exhausting but it affects the chakra that correlates to the organ holding these suppressed emotions and eventually, if not addressed, manifests into physical dis-ease. For example, someone holding anger will often suffer from liver issues, just as a person holding on to grief may suffer from lung or heart conditions. I recently worked with a lady who had suppressed resentment, hatred and anger for most of her 60+ year life. Accessing this emotion caused excruciating pain in her liver and when the emotion had been released from the cells of her body and lifted, so too did the physical pain. Have you ever been into a building and walked out feeling depressed? Or felt drained after spending time with a particular person? What you are feeling is the emotional molecules picked up from another person by the chakras. If we are aware of this and take a moment to clear the chakras of this unwanted energy, the depressed feeling will disappear. Some people are very sensitive to energy and therefore find it quite difficult going into large shopping centres and places as such.

Every living thing including the Earth itself is sustained by the rays of energy (light) that come from the sun, our body utilizes this daily without any conscious awareness on our behalf, this is why the sun is so crucial to our health and vitality. There are 7 different coloured energy light rays and these can be seen in the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. These 7 colours are also the colours that resonate at the same vibrational frequency as the chakras. Each colour / vibration affects us differently and therefore it is another important aspect on our healing or preventative journey. You will know yourself, some colours make you feel calm whilst others invigorate and energize. This stimulation is received by light from the sun entering our skin and eyes (get rid of those sunglasses!) and then traveling to the visual cortex of the brain where it stimulates glands such as the pituitary and their hormone secretions which in turn affects our physical and emotional bodies.

Imbalances of our chakra system can be caused by persistent emotional toxicity in the form of negative thoughts and emotions as well as physical-chemical toxicity and low vibrational foods. It is said that an animal at the time of its slaughter retains the low vibrational emotional molecules of fear and pain. The three lower chakras starting at the base of the spine relate to the physical aspects such as the earth and grounding, where the upper chakras relate more to the spiritual aspect of our body.

Base Chakra is located at the coccyx area of the spine. It is associated with the colour red and its function relates to survival and instincts. It correlates to the Adrenals, Kidneys, Colon, Legs, Bones and Spinal Column. It gives vitality to the physical body and when open and balanced, we feel safe and confident. When there is Imbalance in this chakra we may suffer from fatigue, depression, obesity, anaemia, cold hands and feet, constipation, sciatic issues and frequent colds.

Sacral Chakra is located below the navel and above the pubic bone. It is associated to the colour yellow and its function relates to procreation, sexuality, vitality and the assimilation of food. It correlates to the spleen, womb, prostate, genitals, ovaries, testicles and bladder. When there is imbalance in this chakra we may suffer from conditions such as lower back pain, bladder infections, impotence, prostate issues, polarity imbalances, eating disorders, sexuality and sensuality issues.

Solar Plexus Chakra is located between the breastbone and the navel. It is associated with the colour yellow and its function is to vitalize the sympathetic nervous system, digestion and the metabolism of emotions. It correlates to the pancreas, stomach, adrenals, liver, gallbladder, muscles and the nervous system. When there is imbalance in this chakra we may suffer from diabetes, hepatitis, ulcers, jaundice, digestive problems, hypoglycaemia, constipation, colitis, poor memory, nervousness and other disorders of these glands and organs.

Heart Chakra is located in the centre of the chest. It is associated to the colour green and its function is to anchor the more physical aspect of us from the spiritual aspect of us, our Higher Self, serving as a bridge between body and spirit. It energizes the physical body and blood circulation. It correlates to the heart, circulatory system, thymus gland, arms, hands and lungs. When balanced we have good self-control and loving relationships. When imbalanced we may suffer from conditions such as lethargy, lung problems such as asthma, pneumonia and emphysema, high blood pressure or other chest or heart problems.

Throat Chakra is located at the throat. It is associated to the colour sky blue and its function is that of verbal expression and communication. It correlates to the thyroid and parathyroid glands, the hypothalamus, mouth and throat. When balanced we have great health and communication. When imbalanced we may suffer from conditions such as over or underactive thyroid, flu, swollen glands, fevers, tonsillitis, speech disorders, hyperactivity, hormonal problems and mood swings, PMS, menopause.

Third Eye Chakra is located between the eyebrows. It is associated to the colour indigo and its function is intuition. It correlates to the pituitary gland, pineal gland, nose, ears and left eye, vitalizing the cerebellum/lower brain, the central nervous system and our vision. When balanced we are intuitively in tune and have great imagination. When imbalanced we may suffer from vision problems, co-ordination, headaches, earaches, migraines, depression, anxiety, paranoia, schizophrenia, sleep disorders and other conditions of the brain.

Crown Chakra is located at the crown of the head. It is associated to the colour violet and its function is our connection to the Divine. It correlates to the cerebral cortex, right eye and central nervous system and the function is to vitalize the cerebrum/upper brain. When balanced we experience cooperativeness and a greater awareness of our spiritual origin. When imbalanced we may experience depression, mental illness, confusion, senility, epilepsy, neuralgia, vein and blood vessel problems, rashes and eczema.

It really is hard to put into words just how life changing this retreat was for me and my family. I came to visit for a short 3 days stay as a brand new mum nearly 5 years ago. I was putting so much pressure on myself as a mum, a wife and someone who should just be coping with life better, that it nearly broke me. What truly blew my mind was the INCREDIBLE spiritual and emotional work she assisted me with, WOW.. JUST WOW! This women and her big beautiful heart CHANGED MY LIFE! My relationship with my husband changed, my view of myself changed, who I was as a mother. All the shackles where broken and I was again FREEE TO BE ME. I Exhaled... I have been meaning to get back to this retreat for so long and will be booking another stay ASAP. When I need to rest my soul I think of this haven always...just take me back already!!
